Celebrating 5 Years With Liverpool’s #26

5 years ago today, in 2017, Andy Robertson made his debut for Liverpool FC and what an extraordinary player he has become! The Scotsman has earn several honors while being an intricate part of the Liverpool system under Jürgen Klopp.

Since signing for the Reds, Robertson helped the club earn quite a few trophies including UEFA Champions League in 2018-2019 season, UEFA Super Cup in 2019, FIFA Club World Cup in 2019, Premier League in the 2019-2020 Season during the Pandemic when Fans could not attend for the nine remaining matches, both the FA Cup and EFL Cup in 2021-2022 season and most recently, the FA Community Shield on July 30, 2022.

To date Robbo has made 163 Premier League Appearances and scoring 7 goals for Liverpool Football Club.

Former Liverpool captain Sir Kenny Dalglish has said "For me, there are few, if any, better than him in his position."

So in his honor, I’m wearing my #26 #robbo tee to celebrate him!

To think back to March of 2018, when the left back sent a young fan named Alfie Radford a match worn shirt of Roberto Firmino became he was touched by his gesture of offering his pocket money to the foodbanks.

The Scottish Captain wrote: “I’ve got one of Roberto Firmino’s match shirts from this season and asked him to sign it for you, by way of a thank you for what you did for the foodbanks.”

“Let’s be honest Alfie, no one wants the left back’s shirt – which is why I got you Bobby’s instead. Hope that’s okay.”

Bless him! I know I’m not the only who would probably wear his name on the back of my shirt.

These days, I know I wouldn’t be the only one proud to wear his shirt.
