An American has set a new record in a World Cup!
Casey Phair is 16 years and 26 days old becoming the youngest ever player to play in as World Cup (Men’s or Women’s).
Phair is also the first biracial player to play for South Korea. 🇰🇷🇺🇸 New Jersey is her birth place and where she calls home to an American father and Korean mother.
At the age of 16, she was called up to the South Korean U-17 team, where she scored 5 goals in 2 games.
Back home in New Jersey, the 5’ 10 striker plays for the Pingry School and the Players Development Academy (PDA).
